Hi there!
My name is Kat and I am a Senior Producer and Content Manager living in Sydney. I have 14 years of experience in advertising and content production, working in brand, agency and production company departments.
I am skilled in social content strategy, creative ideation, content planning, end-to-end production (video & stills) and leading teams.
Currently working as a freelancer, I’ve produced for agencies all around Sydney such as 72andSunny, Bastion, Tag and Entropico. I also facilitate production fixer services to international agencies and filmmakers wishing to shoot in Australia, and have a couple of small direct Clients.
How did I get here? While I was interning in the Channel 10 newsroom in my final year of University, I had a serendipitous run-in at a cafe with an old friend who was a “producer”. This lead to my first production job on the iconic cooking show Ready Steady Cook. I did a couple of gigs in reality TV before I shifted into advertising, which I have always loved. I have a Bachelor of Arts (Communications - Journalism) degree, a Cert IV in graphic design and have taught myself many multi-media and different generative AI tools. I am obsessed with learning tools (even when they may not be in my job description.)
